What we offer at Avanti Gardens School

At Avanti Gardens School, we encourage and support every child during each step of their educational journey.

However, we recognise that many pupils during their time at school experience difficulties.

We are committed to enabling each pupil to grow and develop to reach their full potential.

Where can parents find out more about special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?

The SEND Local Offer helps parents, carers and young people understand the special educational needs and disabilities support available in Bristol, and how to access it.

Rooted in The Avanti Way, we believe every child has unique potential and should be supported to flourish intellectually, emotionally, physically and spiritually. The Local Offer is an important starting point for families seeking the right guidance, services and support, helping every young person feel known, valued and able to thrive.

Meet our SENCo

At Avanti Gardens, we are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and able to achieve their full potential. Guided by the principles of the SEND Code of Practice (2015), we work in partnership with children, families and external professionals to provide high-quality provision that meets individual needs and aims to remove barriers to learning.

Creating a culture of inclusion and belonging is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child, regardless of their starting point, background or additional needs, should feel welcomed, respected and empowered to thrive. And we recognise that every child is unique, bringing their own strengths, talents and experiences to our school community. Through inclusive teaching, tailored support and strong partnerships with parents and carers, we strive to ensure that all pupils can participate fully in school life and achieve success.

Our approach is firmly rooted in the Avanti Way: Educational Excellence, Character Formation and Spiritual Insight. Through this, we strive for the very best outcomes for all pupils, treating one another with kindness, respect and integrity, and demonstrating unwavering commitment to every child’s success and wellbeing. By celebrating diversity, nurturing mutual respect and creating a strong sense of community, we aim to ensure that every child and family feels they belong. We want all members of our school community to know that they are valued, listened to and supported, so that every child can flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
